The new Jeep Meridian is offered in two variants including Limited and Limited (O).
The Jeep Meridian was launched in India on 19 May, 2022.
The Jeep Meridian is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. This motor is paired to a six-speed manual unit or a nine-speed automatic unit.
Exterior and Design
The Jeep Meridian include the signature seven-box grille, LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, a chrome insert for the front bumper, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone roof rails, sleek, wraparound LED tail lights, rear silver skid plate, contrast black roof and ORVMs, and chrome inserts for the rear bumper.
Interior and Features
The 2022 Jeep Meridian gets features in the form of a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully-digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, multi-zone climate control, and electric tumble function for the second-row seats.
The India-spec Jeep Meridian has not been tested by Global NCAP. The model gets safety features such as Six airbags, ABS with EBD, TCS, ESC, HSA, TPMS, Rear parking sensors, Electronic roll-over mitigation, and a Reverse parking camera.
Meridian in India can be purchased in 5 different colour options. Jeep Meridian colour options available in market are – Brilliant Black, Magnesio Grey, Pearl White, Red Velvet, Techno Metallic Green.
The Jeep Meridian SUV has a seating capacity of seven occupants.
The Jeep Meridian will rival the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Mahindra Alturas G4, Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace, and the Skoda Kodiaq.
